The Bachchans are one of the most loved and respected Bollywood families. First, it was Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan who entertained the audience, and then Abhishek also followed in their footsteps. Years down the line, as Abhishek married Aishwarya Rai, one more beautiful addition was made to the list of superstars. With so many talented artists under one roof, one would believe creative discussions in the house would never stop. However, while talking to us Abhishek Bachchan revealed, “We’re very good at leaving our work behind.”
“After a point, we don’t discuss work at all. We like to put aside our work and just talk about other things,” he added.
Having said that, when asked if the actors in the house seek advice from one another, Abhishek revealed how he and Aishwarya share this beautiful bond where the two discuss and encourage each other in their career choices.
“When she (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) was in two minds about doing ‘Pink Panther’ because my grandmother was ailing and this film required her to be out of the country for two months, I encouraged her to do the film. It was a wonderful opportunity for her to work with some great actors,” he shared.
He continued that whenever needed he also seeks advice from his wife and parents alike. “I take Aishwarya’s advice just as I take my parents’ advice. They’re some great actors in the house and I do seek their advice,” quoted the ‘I Want To Talk’ star, who today has turned a year older.
