‘Come here illegally, and we’ll deport you’: White House Valentine’s message warns migrants – The Times of India

The White House’s Valentine’s Day message took a stark turn on Friday, issuing a warning to migrants seeking to enter the United States illegally.
A pink card shared on the official White House social media account read: “Roses are red, violets are blue. Come here illegally, and we’ll deport you.” The image was adorned with hearts but featured stern-faced pictures of President Donald Trump and his border chief, Thomas Homan.

The message comes as Trump pushes ahead with his pledge to launch the largest deportation campaign in US history, reinforcing his administration’s tough stance on immigration.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump has not publicly extended Valentine’s Day wishes to his wife, Melania. His predecessor, Joe Biden, frequently exchanged affectionate messages with his wife, Jill, on social media during his time in office.
Homan, known for his hard-line views, recently dismissed criticism from Pope Francis over the US immigration crackdown, telling the pontiff to “stick to the Catholic Church.”
