Tesla CEO Elon Musk and US President Donald Trump sat down for their first joint interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, where they spoke highly of each other while discussing Musk’s role as an advisor and the White House’s stance on his influence. Wearing a t-shirt that read “Tech Support,” the billionaire emphasized that his primary role was to provide technological guidance to the president.
Trump, in turn, praised Musk, calling him “a great person,” “an amazing person,” and “a caring person.” He added, “And he attracts a young, very smart type of person. I call them high-IQ individuals, and they are.”
During the interview, Trump also jokingly commented on how young staffers at his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), including Musk, dress. “What [Musk] does is he takes it and with his hundred geniuses,” Trump said. “He’s got some very brilliant young people working for him that dress much worse than him, actually. They dress in t-shirts. You wouldn’t know that have a 180 IQ.”
Trump also recalled Musk pointing out a common challenge with government orders: “This is probably true for all presidents: you write an executive order and you think it’s done. You send it out. [But] it doesn’t get implemented. They don’t implement it. Maybe they’re from the last administration, and they are in some cases. You try to get them out as fast as you can.”

Earlier in the show, Musk also showed off his T-shirt that read ‘tech support,’” adding “because I’m here to provide the president with technology support.”
The tech billionaire sported the same black T-shirt attending a video conference at the World Governments Summit in Dubai. Musk then joked that he was the “White Houseʼs tech support”.
He also wore the Tech support t-shirt during his recent visit to the Oval Office. Sharing the photo on X, he wrote “Wearing my TECH SUPPORT shirt today! What more proof could they possibly need?”.
