Google India has shared wishes for Team India for ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. Google’s wishes for the Indian Cricket team has Bollywood flavour. In a post on Twitter, from its official account, Google India shared a picture from Karan Johar’s magnum opus ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum‘ that starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kajol and Kareena Kapoor.

The accompanying photograph is a scene from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum’ that has veteran actor Jaya Bachchan with a Thali and Diya. “Me waiting again, 12 years later:” reads the text just above the image that shows Google search for ‘India Champions Trophy Wins’. The search results above the Jaya also show: ‘India also have the most final appearances, with four, winning the 2023 and 2022 editions (the latter shared with Sri Lanka).
The Champions Trophy 2025 features eight teams and 15 matches. The eight teams are India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Britain and Afghanistan. India refused to travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy and will play all its matches in Dubai.
India’s opening match on February 20
The Indian team will play its opening match in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 against Bangladesh at Dubai later today. Speaking at the pre-match press conference, India captain Rohit Sharma confirmed that seasoned pacer Mohammed Shami and ‘Chinaman’ spinner Kuldeep Yadav are fit for the Champions Trophy opening clash against Bangladesh. Shami recently returned to international cricket after spending more than a year away from the game due to an injury.
