Krushna Abhishek reveals Kapil Sharma’s one habit that made The Great Indian Kapil Show hit; Rajiv Thakur says, ‘We will do whatever it takes for the show to work’ | – The Times of India

Krushna Abhishek and the team behind The Great Indian Kapil comedy are gearing up to launch the third season of their Netflix comedy. The team, which included Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda, Sunil Grover, Rajiv Thakur, and Kapil Sharma, recently attended a launch ceremony for their third season. During the launch, Rajiv recorded a behind-the-scenes vlog, which he eventually posted to YouTube. Krushna discussed his superstitious beliefs, which he believes contribute to their show’s popularity on the streaming platform.
During the vlog, Rajiv mentions that the platform specifically instructed them not to wear black, but Krushna only packed black clothing to the event. Rajiv wonders if Krushna did this to stand out, but Krushna responds that he did it for the sake of the show’s success.
He shared, “When we had the launch of the second season, they specially wrote that don’t wear polka dots and Kapil wore polka dots. I saw him and our second season was a big hit. So my belief is, ‘don’t do what they say’.” Rajiv also joined Krushna and declared that he too, will change his outfit and wear black. “We will do whatever it takes for the show to work,” he said.
The first season of The Great Indian Kapil Show aired in 2024 and consisted of 13 episodes. Just a few months after the first season concluded, the show premiered its second season, which had 13 additional episodes. The show follows the same premise as Kapil’s previous presentations, with celebrities promoting their films as the cast of the show performs funny skits.
