Celebrity MasterChef recently featured pasta challenges that test contestants’ culinary skills. In the new episode, renowned chef Ranveer Brar presented a particularly demanding pasta task, pushing the celebrity participants to their limits. This challenge led to a mix of impressive dishes and notable kitchen mishaps, highlighting the unpredictable nature of the competition.
The first challenge made the celebrity chefs make different shapes of Pastas in the colours of the Italian flag which was then won by Gaurav Khanna and he got an advantage of seeking Chef Ranveer’s assistance in the next challenge. The second challenge has a new twist as the Judges ask them to make dishes according to the flags colours. Tejasswi, Gaurav, Dipika and Kabita choose white, Nikki, Archana and Usha Tai choose red and Faisu and Rajiv choose green.
Chef Vikas and Ranveer reach at Archana’s station and ask her about her dish. Vikas says, ‘My heart says that you will become a minister and impress us all. You will become the food minister.’ Archana then says, ‘Today I am making Aricini laal maas balls’ However, the chefs were a little doubtful.
When it was time for tasting, all three red dishes failed to impress the judges with their plating but Nikki’s dish turned out to be extremely delicious. When it came to Archana’s dish, Ranveer suggested that she should have used herbs for garnishing. The plate looked bland. Further when Vikas tastes it, he cuts his tongue while chewing. Archana gets extremely tensed and cries inconsolably. Farah asks Archana whether she left something sharp while frying.
In tears, Archana says, ‘Ma’am I have only cooked with the ingredients that were provided. Maine kuch bhi nahi dala hai, maine teekha bhi nahi banaya hai.’ Vikas then calms her and says it wasn’t her fault. However, looking at the dish, it didn’t impress the judges. Farah tells that the dish didn’t taste Italian.
Chef Ranveer then explains that Archana needs to find herself in this kitchen. She needs to ask and learn from others who know the cuisine well. Ranveer Brar then asks the chefs to get a little serious about cooking in the kitchen and not take the challenges lightly.
He then shared, ‘I don’t know if it makes you feel better. Jaise ustadon se humne kaam seekha hai, mere peeth pe sariyon ke nishaan hai. Tandoor ke sariye. We need to get ruthless with you all as well, warna gaadi aage nahi badhegi.’
