BHOPAL: In a desperate bid to draw attention, a 38-year-old man from Gwalior staged a protest, claiming that his wife and her boyfriends may plot to kill him, with plans akin to the recently reported “blue drum” murder case in Meerut.
Amit Kumar Sen, 38, held a sign with a message addressed to the chief minister, asking him to punish his wife. “She has cheated on me. She has killed my son. She can get me killed, too. Recently, many cases have come to light in the country where a wife, in collusion with her boyfriend, has had her husband murdered. My wife has three to four boyfriends.”
Amit, a resident of Janakpuri in Gwalior, alledged that his wife and her lover murdered his son, Harsh, and he fears that he might be the next victim in a similar plot. He alleges that his wife, now living with one Rahul, has also taken their younger son with her.
The protest took place at Phoolbagh intersection. Despite several complaints to police, Amit claims no action has been taken. He continues to demand that police take immediate action and provide him with protection. Police said no formal complaint had yet been received, but assured that any complaints lodged would be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate legal action would be taken.
