‘No difference of opinion between BJP, RSS,’ says Sangh as it praises PM Modi’s Nagpur visit | India News – The Times of India

NEW DELHI: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Sunday said that there is “no difference of opinion” between the Sangh and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The statement followed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the RSS headquarters in Nagpur on Sunday.
Describing the Prime Minister’s visit a “very important and historic” one, RSS member Seshadri Chari said, “People talk a lot about the relationship between RSS and BJP, before also they talked about it…there is no difference in opinion between the BJP and the RSS.”
“The people who don’t know anything about the Sangh and the BJP, these people say that there is a difference in opinion between the BJP and the RSS. The people who spread these false things say it for their political benefit,” the RSS member told ANI.
PM Modi began his visit by paying tribute to Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the organisation’s founding father, at Smruti Mandir in Nagpur.
“This will be the first time that he will be going there after becoming the PM, and this is a very important and historic visit. The second this that this is a celebration of 100 years of RSS, there will be a lot of programs on it,” the RSS member said.
“Sangh also has a lot of opinions on the issues of the country, and on those, PM will take those issues forward, he has been doing before too. The government’s job is to make India a strong country, make it a Viksit Bharat,” he added.
PM Modi’s visit to Nagpur includes stops at Smruti Mandir (RSS), Deekshabhoomi, Madhav Netralaya, and Solar Industrial Explosives.
He will lay the foundation stone for Madhav Netralaya Premium Centre and address a public gathering.
