NEW DELHI: Over 31 children fell ill on Thursday after consuming filariasis medicine in Bihar‘s Ara. Their condition is now reported to be normal.
The medicine, that treats a long-term parasitic infection transmitted by mosquitoes, was given to the kids as a part of health campaign organised in school.
The kids were admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment.

The incident brings back the memories of 2022 when nearly 72 kids of two government schools fell ill after consuming de-worming tablets in Bhagalpur and Munger.
