18-year-old woman arrested after crushing man under wheels of his own Porsche, see video – Times of India



An 18-year-old woman from Canada was taken into custody after being recorded on a doorbell camera feigning interest in a Porsche and subsequently stealing the vehicle. During her escape, she ran over the car’s owner in his driveway, according to police reports.
Sarah Badshaw faces several charges, including “dangerous operation causing bodily harm, theft of a motor vehicle, failure to remain after an accident resulting in bodily harm and driving without a license,” as stated by Peel Regional Police.She voluntarily surrendered to authorities on Thursday while they were actively searching for a suspect in the case.
The incident occurred on September 6 at approximately 2 pm (local time) near the intersection of Winston Churchill and Eglinton Avenue in Mississauga. Video evidence shows the woman ringing the victim’s doorbell, expressing interest in purchasing the 2022 Porsche Cayenne he had advertised on Autotrader. Once inside the vehicle to inspect the interior, Badshaw quickly reversed and fled the victim’s driveway, striking the victim as she drove away with the stolen car.

On September 19, 2024 the suspect, Badshaw of Brampton turned herself into police. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing on September 20, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton, as per the police.
The victim had exited the passenger side door and walked around the front of the vehicle, attempting to open the locked driver’s side door. As he reached for the handle, the car appeared to lurch slightly before the suspect rapidly backed out of the driveway, running over the victim and forcefully dragging him into the street. The man sustained injuries to his elbow, hands, and legs, requiring medical attention, as he disclosed to CTV News Toronto.
Police also reported that an accomplice, waiting across from the victim’s residence in a gray Bentley Bentayga, was involved in the theft. The stolen Porsche was later discovered abandoned in Mississauga on Wednesday.
Authorities revealed that Badshaw has a history of fraud-related offenses in the Peel region and is currently wanted by other GTA police agencies in connection with separate ongoing investigations.
