Actor Nitin Chauhan, best known for winning the reality show Dadagiri 2, has passed away at the age of 35. The television industry was shaken by the sudden death of the young actor, who passed on Thursday in Mumbai.
Chauhan was widely recognized for his roles in popular TV shows such as Splitsvilla 5, Zindagi Dot Com, Crime Patrol, and Friends. News of his passing was confirmed by his co-stars Sudeep Sahir and Vibhuti Thakur.
Vibhuti Thakur also shared a heartfelt message on social media, informing fans and colleagues of his passing. The TV industry and fans alike are grappling with the shock of his untimely death, as Chauhan was known for his fitness and positive presence.
Fellow actor Sudeep Sahir paid tribute on his Instagram story, writing, “Rest in peace, buddy.” Vibhuti Thakur expressed her sorrow, sharing a picture with Chauhan on her Instagram story with the message, “Rest in peace, my dear. I’m shocked and saddened. I wish you had the strength to face all the challenges. I wish you were as strong mentally as you were physically.”
Originally from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Chauhan gained fame after his Dadagiri 2 win and went on to feature in various successful shows. His acting credits included Splitsvilla 5 and episodic roles in series like Zindagi Dot Com, Crime Patrol, and Friends. His last appearance was in the TV show Tera Yaar Hoon Main in 2022.
