NEW DELHI: KL Rahul’s form has become a significant concern for Team India as they prepare for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, beginning November 22.
The opener struggled in the recent home series against New Zealand, where India suffered a 0-3 series sweep.
KL Rahul, one of the primary batters at Tuesday’s training session at the WACA, is eager to regain his touch ahead of the first Test in Perth.
Joining Rahul in the nets were Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill as India sharpened their preparations for what could be a historic series.

In his sole Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru, Rahul scored 0 and 12, leading to his exclusion from the playing XI for the remaining matches.
His struggles continued in a recent India A match against Australia A, where he managed only 4 and 10.
With the spotlight on him, Rahul is looking to turn his form around as India seeks to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in challenging Australian conditions.
India aim for a third consecutive Test series win in Australia, having previously triumphed in 2018-19 under Virat Kohli and in 2020-21 under Ajinkya Rahane.
