BHOPAL: A sub-inspector in Raisen, Madhya Pradesh, passed away after suffering a heart attack while riding his bike. A video of the incident has surfaced, showing the moments leading up to his collapse.
The incident occurred in Bareilly, Raisen, where 62-year-old Subhash Singh, a sub-inspector posted in the area, was filling petrol at a local pump. Hailing from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, Subhash Singh was riding his bike after refuelling when he suddenly collapsed.

The video footage shows Subhash Singh leaving the petrol pump and riding a short distance before attempting to park his bike on the side. At that moment, he suddenly fell from the bike. Passersby and petrol pump employees quickly gathered around him and alerted the authorities. The police soon arrived at the scene and rushed him to a hospital in Bareilly, where doctors declared him dead.
He remained on the ground for around two minutes, while people looked on and a crowd gathered. Following the alarm raised by petrol pump workers, a police patrol vehicle arrived, and Singh was lifted into the vehicle.
However, the vehicle remained stationary for another two and a quarter minutes, bringing the total time spent at the scene to about four minutes.
Despite efforts to save him, the sub-inspector was declared dead shortly afterward. Doctors confirmed that the death appeared to be the result of a sudden heart attack. Upon arrival at the hospital, Subhash Singh’s pulse was absent. Despite an attempted resuscitation process lasting 30 minutes, he was declared dead.
Subhash Singh was scheduled to retire in two months. He leaves behind a son and a daughter, both of whom are married. The family is now preparing to take his body to his ancestral village in Uttar Pradesh for the last rites.
