‘Rahul needs notes’: Kangana Ranaut attacks Congress MP over ‘memory loss’ comment against PM Modi | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: BJP MP Kangana Ranaut on Saturday mocked the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stating that he “needs small notes even for an 11-minute speech” and yet he claims Prime Minister Narendra Modi has memory loss.
“If you listen to the Prime Minister’s speeches, he speaks for an hour without looking at any paper, whereas Rahul Gandhi needs small notes even for an 11-minute speech. Without them, he can’t speak for a minute, yet he claims he doesn’t have memory loss. I think he should have some manners,” the actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut said on leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi’s recent remarks on PM Modi.
Kangana highlighted the prime minister’s global recognition, stating that, “Everyone knows that the entire world is discussing about PM Modi’s personality. He is the most popular leader of the world, but I feel bad that our opposition is jealous of the PM and that’s why they are making such remarks.”

Earlier in the day, Rahul took a swipe at PM Modi’s memory, drawing a comparison to outgoing US President Joe Biden, who has frequently made headlines for forgetting the names of world leaders at summits.
“My sister was telling me that she heard Modi ji’s speech. And in that speech, whatever we say, Modi ji is saying the same thing these days. I don’t know, maybe he has lost his memory,” Rahul said, attacking the 74-year-old BJP leader.
“The former President of America, used to forget, he had to be reminded from behind. The President of Ukraine came and the President of America said that Russian President Putin has come. He had lost his memory, similarly, our prime minister is losing his memory,” he added.
Kangana has also voiced her support for Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s slogan “batenge to katenge,” describing it as a “call for unity.
Speaking to ANI, she said, “This is a call for unity. We have been taught since childhood that unity is strength. If we are together, we are safe and if we get divided, we will be cut…Our party is a Sanatani party. If our party wants, we can also take PoK together, whereas the opposition’s conspiracy to divide is being unsuccessful.”
