Karan Veer Mehra‘s former co-star Hunar Hale exclusively spoke to TOI TV, reacting to the constant comparison between Vivian and Karan Veer. The actress got candid about how Karan’s friends would betray him when they’d get a chance. Here’s what she shared:
What’s your take on the constant comparison between Vivian and Karan?
Vivian never voiced his opinions openly in front of everyone nor did he directly confront people. Instead, he discusses them privately with those who gave him all the validation. Sab Eisha Alice toh hai nahi jo sunenge aur “OK” “Hanji” karke validate karenge. Karan actually tries to explain these things to Vivian which shows that Karan truly cares for his image. Vivian is playing safe which is also fine because had he voiced he would likely be labelled arrogant or snobbish. Neither of them can be considered as “naive” in the game. I feel both are fire and have different takes on things hence comparing isn’t necessarily the right thing to do.
What do you think Karan should do to come back into the game?
To come back in the game, Karan should first stop being a sad soul, I understand that he is being pushed into sadness by contestants calling him bald because of a few patches, mocking his age, and throwing around insults like ‘nalla’, ‘chomu,’ you’re tearing him apart emotionally! Regardless I wish him well and may he be strong and fight back and bluntly stick to calling out and not play safe.
Despite him keeping a true bond, do you think his friends in the house will be the first ones to betray him?
His friends are actually somewhat a chugli gang who are keeping him alive in the game but because they know that he is a competition & a probable finalist they are making him a villain and the whole house is targeting him on everything so of course they will betray him.
