Atul Subhash’s last post tagging Elon Musk and Donald Trump
Subhash, as per his X profile, joined the microblogging platform in November 2024. He has only five names in his following list – Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Department of Government Efficiency, Save Indian Family Foundation (the NGO he was associated with) and President of Russia.
Atul Subhash sent email to Save Indian Family Foundation
Atul sent an email to the NGO expressing his distress and suicidal intentions and even left behind a 24-page suicide note detailing how domestic issues drove him to take his own life. The NGO alerted the police after getting his message and shared the same details with the local police. Upon arrival, police broke open his apartment’s door to find Atul dead. The suicide note reportedly cites eight police complaints filed against him by his wife and others as a major contributing factor to his suicide.
Bengaluru police have filed an FIR against the wife of the late Atul Subhash and her family for abetment of suicide under Section 108 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
