PRAYAGRAJ: India is the spiritual heart of the world. Sangam‘s water is cold, but India’s heart is filled with warmth – this is how Pedro James, a yoga practitioner from Brazil, described the hospitality of Maha Kumbh‘s host country.
At the Sangam with her friends, Pedro said: “First time in India, I have come to Prayagraj straight from Varanasi. It’s amazing to see the sea of humanity, all united by faith and spirituality. You will not see this spectacle anywhere else in the world. India is the spiritual heart of world. Jai Shri Ram!”
Ronny Luke from New Jersey is smitten by the Sangam’s charm. “Though the walk was exhausting, the unexplored beauty of Sangam and the entire Maha Kumbh is rewarding … I have fallen in love with the picturesque view of vibrant makeshift tents and verdant landscape,” Luke said, as his face beamed with excitement.
Clad in a beautiful orange sari, Natalia Shayk from Russia echoed similar views. “India is the cultural ambassador of the world. It is unique and matchless. Culturally diverse, Kumbh is a confluence of faith, traditions, astronomy, astrology, and customs. Our experience is ineffable,” Shayk said.
“Real India is not in malls, but at Maha Kumbh. Here, nobody is superior,” said Indian-origin Vikas Dhar from the US.
