BSEB 10th Result 2024: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially declared the results for the BSEB Class 10 examination of 2024. Aspiring candidates who took the Bihar Matric exams can now check their results on the official websites of BSEB, accessible at biharboardonline.com and bsebmatric.org.
Mr. Anand Kishore, Chairman of the Bihar School Examination Committee, made the announcement today, March 31, 2024, in the auditorium located at the Main Hall, Sinha Library, Patna.During this significant session, BSEB stakeholders divulged various statistics, including overall pass percentages, the names of top performers, and other pertinent details.
BSEB has revealed an impressive overall pass percentage of 82.91% for this year’s examination cycle. Moreover, Chairman Anand Kishore proudly unveiled the names of the BSEB Class 10 toppers for the 2024 matric examination.
Today’s release of the Annual Secondary Examination, 2024, showcased the outstanding achievements of 51 students who secured notable positions in the top 10 list. Among these exceptional performers, 10 students clinched positions in the coveted first five ranks, while an additional 41 students earned accolades securing ranks six to ten.
Shivankar Kumar, hailing from Zilla School in Purnia, emerged as the statewide topper in the Annual Secondary Examination, 2024. His exceptional performance garnered him a total of 489 marks, equivalent to an impressive 97.80%.

Exam Results: An Overview
16,64,252 students appeared in the Annual Secondary Examination, 2024, of which 8,58,785 were girls and 8,05,467 were boys. In this examination, more number of girls appeared than boys, which is indicative of the success of various schemes implemented by the state government to promote girls’ education.
In the Annual Secondary Examination, 2024, 4,52,302 students (Boys – 2,52,846 and Girls – 1,99,456) in first division, 5,24,965 students (Boys – 2,52,121 and Girls – 2,72,844) in second division and 3,80,732 students (boys – 1,66,093 and girls – 2,14,639) have passed in third division. 21,843 students are in the pass category in this examination. Thus, a total of 13,79,842 students (boys – 6,80,293 and girls – 6,99,549) have passed this examination. The total percentage of students passing is 82.91%.
It is noteworthy that the Annual Secondary Examination, 2024 was conducted at 1,585 examination centers in the state between February 15, 2024 and February 23, 2024 with malpractice-free, clean and excellent arrangements.
