Clouds of horror and terror are rounding the Punjabi entertainment industry once again. Recent reports have claimed that firing happened outside Punjabi singer Prem Dhillon’s Canada house on Monday. The latest developments reveal that the Jaipal Bhullar gang has taken responsibility for the attack. Jenta Kharrad, a known associate of Arsh Dala, who is reportedly hiding in Australia has shared a viral post to announce that he is the man behind the attack.
The post mentioned the name of singer Sidhu Moosewala, who was shot down in Punjab’s Mansa district in 2022. Another name that has appeared in the post is gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria.
Written in Punjabi, the post states – “I tried several times to stop this, but it didn’t happen. First, they came forward with Sidhu, signed with him, then threatened Sidhu with Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, broke their contract, and then pointed fingers at Sidhu’s loss. They mocked Sidhu’s death and made a song for his sympathy”.
The post states that Prem Dhillon betrayed Sidhu after his demise and also gave a song to KV Dillon. It even referred to ‘Geet Mp3’ as “Cheat MP3”.
“This is just your final warning. If you don’t mend your ways now, no one can save you, whether you go to Canada or anywhere else. Go with our aunt, I will show you by killing you,” Kharrad wrote in the post.
This isn’t a standalone incident where a Punjabi artist has been targeted. In September of last year, gunfire was allegedly reported near the home of Punjabi singer AP Dhillon on Victoria Island in Vancouver, Canada. A man named Rohit Godara, affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang admitted to being involved in the incident.
In November 2023, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi asserted responsibility for an alleged shooting at the residence of singer Gippy Grewal in Canada. This event reportedly occurred in the White Rock area of Vancouver.
