NEW DELHI: Lucknow will play host to India’s top sports champions at the Times of India Sports Awards (TOISA) on February 22, 2025.
Honouring top Indian athletes and their indomitable spirit, TOISA returns to the glorious city of Nawabs to shine the spotlight on the champions who brought pride to the nation during the 2024 calendar year.
There are over 175 nominees across 36 regular sports and 12 para-sports categories. Categories include Kabaddi, Kho Kho, Hockey, Athletics and Cricket, to name a few.
The TOISA 2025 Jury comprises of former long-jumper and senior vice-president of AFI, Anju Bobby George; Olympic medal-winning wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt; Former captain of the Indian hockey team, Dilip Tirkey; Paralympic medalist Javelin thrower Devendra Jhajharia; Olympic medallist and six-time world boxing champion Mary Kom.
The illustrious jury will meet to select the winners on February 10, 2025.
By honouring the accolades of national sports icons, TOISA aims to celebrate the past and nurture the future of sports in India. TOISA 2025 hopes to provide a stepping stone for aspiring stars to chase their dreams on the global stage.
