HYDERABAD: Two youngsters pursuing graduation were arrested by Cyberabad police for performing dangerous stunts in their Fortuner and BMW on the Outer Ring Road at Shamshabad. Police also found the two luxury cars from the duo.
Police said the accused Mohammed Obaidullah Ansari and Zohair Siddiqui are relatives and the cars are owned by their families.

The vehicles were purchased in seconds from Delhi based used cars dealers, but the ownership has not been transferred yet.
On Sunday, they left their homes at Attapur, entered the ORR near Rajendra Nagar. At around 3am they were caught on CCTVs performing stunts.
As the videos of the footage went viral, police registered a case and started a probe. Based on clues from the footage, police arrested the two youths.
The vehicles involved in the incident were confiscated for further investigation, allowing authorities to gather all necessary evidence. Meanwhile, the accused individuals were released after being served with a formal notice, pending further legal proceedings. The notice serves as an official warning, with the case still under scrutiny to determine the extent of their involvement and to assess any potential legal action.
A letter is addressed to Ranga Reddy district transport authorities for details of the ownership particulars, NOC, insurance of said vehicles, said K Narender Reddy, SHO Shamshabad police station, Cyberabad.
Similar incidents of illegal racing and dangerous stunts have been reported across various parts of the country over the past week. These reckless activities continue to pose a significant threat to public safety and have led to multiple enforcement actions.
Bandra police booked 14 bikers for performing stunts
In a special operation conducted in the early hours of February 16, Bandra and Kherwadi police successfully apprehended 52 motorcyclists and impounded their vehicles for engaging in illegal racing and performing dangerous stunts along Reclamation and the Western Express Highway (WEH).
The enforcement action, carried out between Bandra Reclamation and Kherwadi Junction on WEH, targeted reckless riders who posed a significant risk to public safety.
Upon receiving notifications about motorcycle racing incidents on Bandra Reclamation’s Mount Mary Road and the Western Express Highway in Kherwadi, the police control room swiftly alerted the respective police stations.
Bandra police booked 14 bikers under relevant sections of the BNS and Motor Vehicles Act, while Kherwadi police took action against 38 offenders, charging them with similar violations. The 52 bikers have been served notices, instructing them to report to the respective police stations for further investigation.
