Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma, are now divorced. The couple has officially parted ways after completing the legal proceedings for their separation. According to ABP News, the final hearing and all necessary formalities took place at the Bandra Family Court on Thursday, with both present from 11:00 AM onwards, according to a lawyer familiar with the case.
During the hearing, the judge directed the couple to attend a counseling session, which lasted for about 45 minutes. When asked by the judge, both Chahal and Dhanashree confirmed that they were seeking a divorce with mutual consent.
They also disclosed that they had been living separately for the past 18 months before making the final decision. When questioned about their separation, they cited “compatibility issues” as the primary reason.
After the discussions, the judge officially granted the divorce, declaring that Chahal and Dhanashree are no longer legally bound as husband and wife. The final verdict was pronounced at 4:30 PM at the Bandra Family Court.

Following the legal proceedings, both Chahal and Dhanashree took to social media, sharing cryptic posts that fueled further speculation.
On Thursday, February 20, Chahal posted a reflective message on his Instagram Stories, hinting at resilience and divine protection, “God has protected me more times than I can count. So I can only imagine the times I’ve been rescued that I don’t even know about. Thank you, God, for always being there, even when I don’t know it. Amen.”
Meanwhile, Dhanashree also shared an introspective message about faith and overcoming challenges. It reads, “From stressed to blessed. Isn’t it amazing how God can turn our worries and trials into blessings? If you’re stressing about something today, know that you have a choice. You can either keep worrying or you can surrender it all to God and choose to pray about everything. There is power in having faith that God can work all things together for your good.”

Neither of them explicitly mentioned their divorce, as of now.
