Celebrity MasterChef has taken the entertainment world by storm, gaining large fan bases and dominating social media discussion thanks to tremendous challenges and mouthwatering cuisine. Gaurav Khanna is one of the several celebrity candidates chosen for the show. The well-known Anupamaa actor has received a lot of notice for his culinary skills. Gaurav first received harsh criticism from the judges for preparing a dish that was termed “uneatable.” However, his determination and “ziddi” mentality helped him progress throughout the challenge.

The challenge was divided into two parts, with the first requiring them to cut half a kilogramme of onions. In the second part, they had to prepare Farah Khan’s famous roast chicken.
The candidates were given the opportunity to try the chicken Farah prepared, however Gaurav was unable to do so because he is a vegetarian. He was asking people to describe the taste. Later, he finished his dish but failed to deliver it properly. The judges informed him that he had chosen the incorrect plate colour, which looked quite off.
Gaurav then revealed that he is colourblind, which startled Vikas Khanna. Farah then exclaimed, “What rubbish!” She then asked him if he didn’t notice Vikas’ blue jacket, which was actually red. Gaurav merely stated that the jacket seemed to be somewhere between orange and red.
Fans have expressed dissatisfaction with Farah and the judges’ actions. They chastised them for making fun of Gaurav’s situation. Netizens believe that judges should never demotivate a contestant.

A fan slammed Farah, “Farah is so unbelievably tone-deaf & crass. she doesn’t bring drama, entertainment or comedy to the show, she brings it down! It’s obnoxious! @TheFarahKhan you need to take some time to look into self improvement-you’re rude & show your lack of sensitivity.”

In addition to Gaurav, the show’s contestants include Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli, Dipika Kakar, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Rajiv Adatia, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu, Abhijeet Sawant, Ayesha Jhulka, and Chandan Prabhakar. Chandan, Abhijeet, and Ayesha have been eliminated.
