SALEM: Five people, including a pregnant woman and two children, on their way to a marriage on two bikes were killed after their vehicles were crushed between a bus and a truck at Salem in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.
The two bikes were following the truck when it slowed down for a speed-breaker. The bikers also slowed down, however, the bus failed to brake behind them, said police.13 passengers on board the bus escaped with minor injuries.
