Ajit Pawar’s first reaction to ‘Organizer’ article: ‘I am focused…’ | India News – Times of India

MUMBAI: Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar reacted to the ‘Organizer’ article which called out the BJP’s alliance with the NCP and held it responsible for the NDA’s dwindling performance in the state. The NCP president said he does not want to speak on the issue. “A lot of leaders are expressing their views and opinions after the polls. In a democracy, it is their right to express their opinions and I do not want to react to them.I have focussed myself on development, how we can provide additional help and complete more development works. My attempt will be on how we, as Mahayuti, can face the state assembly polls with new energy,” Ajit Pawar said.
The NCP has already replied to the RSS criticism and said it was the opinion of the RSS to which the BJP does not subscribe. “The NDA’s co-ordination committee also has RSS members. As per my information, in the review taken about the Mahayuti performance in Maharashtra, the NCP has not been blamed for the results. The BJP’s central leadership has allied with Ajit Pawar, who is seen as an able leader, considering the long-term view,” Umesh Patil said.
‘Ill-advised’: What Organiser article said on Ajit Pawar
Ratan Sharda, an RSS worker, wrote an article in mouthpiece ‘Organiser’ questioning the alliance between the BJP and the Ajit Pawar’s NCP. The tie reduced the ‘brand value’ of the BJP and also made it ‘just another party without any difference’. “Sharad Pawar would have faded away in 2-3 years as NCP would have lost energy with infighting between cousins. Why was this ill-advised step taken?” the article said.
The stinging article grabbed attention at a time several RSS leaders have become vocal about BJP’s performance in the recently concluded Lok Sabha election.
