NEET-UG row: Even if there is 0.001% negligence, it should be dealt with, SC tells Centre, NTA | India News – Times of India


NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Tuesday asked Centre and the National Testing Agency (NTA) not to treat petitions concerning NEET-UG 2024 as adversarial litigation and said that if a mistake has been made, it is better to acknowledge and rectify it.
The apex court was hearing petition related to alleged irregularities in NEET-UG 2024 examinations. The court emphasized that even in cases of minimal negligence, authorities must take prompt and sterna ction.
“If there is 0.001% negligence on the part of anyone it should be thoroughly dealt with,” the Supreme Court said.
The court has also asked the Centre and NTA to submit a response on alleged paper leaks during NEET-UG 2024 by July 8.
