NEW DELHI: Kerala health minister Veena George suffered minor injuries after her official vehicle met with an accident on Wednesday morning while she was on her way to the landslide-hit Wayanad district.
Following the mishap, the minister was taken to the emergency department of Manjeri Medical College for treatment.
She was visiting Wayanad after a series of landslides, caused by heavy rainfall on Tuesday, resulted in at least 150 deaths and over 160 injuries in Kerala’s Wayanad district.
