SC bins ‘end superstitions’ PIL, says we don’t have antidote to all evils | India News – Times of India




The Supreme Court of India, led by CJI D Y Chandrachud, criticised a petitioner for submitting a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) to eradicate superstitions and promote scientific temper. The court emphasised that such matters fall under the domain of educational policy experts and cannot be mandated by judicial orders. The petition was subsequently withdrawn.
