With a photo on Instagram, Kangana wrote “Jaati jivi jise bina jaati pooche jaati ganana karani hai (He who wishes to hold a caste census without asking anyone’s caste).”
However, for the actor turned politician, the photo evoked mixed reactions from social media users with few urging her to focus on her constituency, which is grappling with the aftermath of cloudbursts, while others supported her continuous criticism of Rahul Gandhi.
‘Pasta with kadi patta tadka’
This is not the first time the BJP MP has questioned Rahul Gandhi on caste census. Recently, amid the row over BJP MP Anurag Thakur‘s caste remarks against the LoP and Prime Minster Modi endorsing his speech, Kangana condemned the Congress leader’s stance sharing old videos on the caste row and described the latter as “pasta with kadi patta tadka”, labelling his manner of questioning about caste as “crude” and “condescending”.
“You know nothing of your own caste, your grandfather is Muslim, grandmother Parsi, mummy Christian and it feels like someone tempered pasta with curry leaves to make rice and lentils, but he wants to know everyone’s caste,” she wrote in a story on Instagram earlier this week.
‘Under the influence of drugs’
The newly elected parliamentarian also defended the Modi 3.0 government’s budget and accused the LoP of trying to “divide the nation” by criticising the Union Budget. In fact, she went one step further to suggest that the Congress leader should undergo a drug test. “I think he should be tested. Either he is drunk or he is under the influence of drugs,” she said.

One user slamming the actor turned politician asked, “Elected BJP MP or a Troll?Another user shared a video of her dancing at a party and wrote, “Beautiful dance of a BJP politician from Mandi – Kangana Ranaut. She demanded the Drug Test of Rahul Gandhi, now Who all wants a drug test of her?”One user slammed the MP over the recent devastation in the Mandi constituency and said, “It’s noon, Kangana . Are you still asleep while your constituency (Rampur,Mandi and Kullu) grapples with the devastation of cloudbursts, floods, and landslides? 48 people are missing, and rescue efforts are underway. Time to speak up.”
However, some on social media endorsed the actor’s jab at Rahul. One user wrote “Kangana Ranaut shared this on her Instagram story. Kangana cooking Pappu.”
“She has cooked someone and served it to the seculars,” another user said.
