JAMMU: Ghulam Nabi Azad’s DPAP on Sunday issued its first list of candidates for 13 seats in the first phase of Jammu & Kashmir assembly polls on Sept 18.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP also named seven of its candidates for the state’s first assembly election since the abrogation of Article 370.
DPAP’s has picked former J&K minister Abdul Majeed Wani for Doda East, former MLA Mohammad Amin Bhat for Devsar, and former advocate general Mohammad Aslam Goni for Bhaderwah.
The deadline for filing nomination papers for the first phase is August 27.
